DesignSpark is running a competition inviting you to be creative and innovative in the field of connectivity in embedded system.
Participants in this competition must use Microchip chipKIT™ UNO32 development board (MPN: TDGL002) to design an extension board (developed using DesignSpark PCB tools) to perform connectivity function.
DesignSpark chipKIT™ Challenge is opened for 3 sub-regions: Greater China, Japan and Rest of Asia.
Submission in local languages is acceptable (Chinese or English for GC, Japanese or English for Japan, English for rest of Asia).
Awards
Each region will have two types of award in the DesignSpark chipKIT™ Challenge:
- USD 1100 for the Champion Award
- USD 700 for the Excellence Award
The best 5 project proposals in each sub-region will receive a Microchip chipKIT™ UNO32 development kit!

Submission Criteria
Part i) Submissions from participants detailing design solutions to apsupport@designspark.com.
Part ii) Create and build your solution using DesignSpark PCB (download here) for the circuit board design, and Microchip chipKIT™ UNO32 development board (MPN: TDGL002). Share the progress of project and upload the design files on DesignSpark. Finally, submit the completed project.
After receiving all the proposals, we will select the best 5 proposals in each region, those entrants will receive a Microchip chipKIT™ UNO32 development kit. All entrants are eligible to create and build your solution, and submit the final project before the deadline.
Important Dates
Submission of registration form and proposal: by 1st February, 2013 18:00 HKT
Submission of completed project: by 12th April 2013 18:00 HKT
