This powerful tool is at the heart of a revolutionary Red Pitaya Ecosystem, which facilitates discovering, experiencing, learning, developing and sharing a variety of applications.
What is Red Pitaya?
Available exclusively from RS Components, Red Pitaya is a low cost but high spec, palm sized, PCB based electronic device which provides the following functionality:
• Oscilloscope
2 channels @ 125 MS/s 14 bit digital with external or signal based triggering capability
• Spectrum Analyser
2 channels with 50 MHz bandwidth signal with waterfall diagram capability
• Arbitrary Waveform Generator
2 channels @ 125 MHz 14 bit arbitrary waveform generation with external triggering capability
• Frequency Response Analyser
2 channels with 60 MHz bandwidth
• The HDMI (screen) for the device can be connected to most existing devices in the field today
E.g. Laptop, Smartphone, Tablet, etc
• 2x2 MIMO PID Programmable Controller
Red Pitaya can be customised for specific applications using code (programming) above its standard specification. It is based on GNU/Linux operating system and can be customised at different programming levels.

The web interface enables access to Red Pitaya’s functionality from the majority of browsers. Applications are available on iPhone, iPad, other smartphones, tablets and PCs.
The Red Pitaya project incorporates a community open access library for the standard apps (the Bazaar) and a repository for hosting development code and relevant tools (the Backyard).
